What's Included in These Prices?

When BW Concrete quotes a project, the price includes everything: site measurement, excavation, grading, compacted base material, rebar reinforcement, formwork, the concrete pour, finishing, control joints, and complete site cleanup. We don't hide costs in "additional charges" that show up on the final invoice.

What Makes the Price Go Up?

Larger projects cost more in total but often less per square foot. Stamped or colored finishes add $4-$10 per square foot. Demolition of existing concrete adds $2-$5 per square foot. Difficult site access (steep slopes, narrow gates) can affect equipment costs. Thicker concrete (5-6" vs. standard 4") adds to the material cost. Sacramento's soil conditions sometimes require extra base work.

The Hidden Cost of the "Cheap Bid"

If a quote seems unusually low, ask what's missing. Common shortcuts: thinner concrete (3" instead of 4"), wire mesh instead of rebar, minimal base preparation, no permit, no cleanup. These shortcuts save the contractor money today and cost you thousands in repairs within 2-5 years.
